I teach any level from complete beginners who’ve never held an instrument before right through to advanced students who have been playing for years! I’m fully DBS checked and certified so you can feel sure you’re getting safe and high quality teaching.
Whether you want to just learn for fun and get playing some of the songs you love or if you want to make your way through formal exams I’ll tailor your lessons to fit your own goals and how you learn best.
No matter your age or what style you like, I can help you become fluent on your instrument and capture all the details of how to play your favourite music!
In our lessons we will work on all the elements you will need to be a great musician, including Technique, Timing and Rhythm, Music Theory (and how to use it), Stylistic Awareness and most of all Confidence!
In lessons we will use Diagrams, Standard Music Notation, Shapes and Tabs to help make it as simple as possible to follow the song, copies of these and any lesson notes will be sent via email following your lesson so you always have a visual reminder of what we worked on!
I do 30m, 45m and 1hr Lessons online. I tend to recommend 30mins for younger students and 45/1hr for adults and teens.
